My mission was to lead the Product, Design and UX departments while being close enough to their work so to unify it all under one product strategy, yet remote enough so to have full focus on leadership, recruitment, WoW, process simplification, product ops and excellence.
My first time as an executive leader
My mission was to create from scratch and give shape to Product as a function, to a reliable rolling roadmap and to a consistent Product Suite, leveraging the MVPs and POCs spearheaded up to that moment by the Commercial team.
First experience as a leader of leaders
My mission was to offload the CPTO from his leadership and staffing responsibilities for the Product area - so to enable him to focus on innovation and strategy: restructure, scale and internationalise the already big Product area, after the acquisition of Pippa, through which we expanded in the US.
Here I became a leader for the first time
At iZettle (now Zettle by PayPal), I started as a Risk Business Analyst, quickly transitioned into the role of Agile Coach for the Risk and Operations departments, and was then promoted to Automation Lead.
After the acquisition of IntelligentPOS, in order to cater to the needs of over 1,000 small businesses signing up every day and with the aim to refactor the Salesforce suite and develop dedicated integration services to automate, streamline and scale operations, iZettle launched the Automation Program, of which I was the lead, aka Product and Engineering Manager.
