At Lendis I found my true leadership calling: leading leaders with a strong focus on coaching, teams’ wellbeing and effectiveness. My mission was to lead the Product, Design and UX departments while being close enough to their work so to unify it all under one product strategy, yet remote enough so to have full focus on leadership, recruitment, WoW, process simplification, product ops and excellence.
Product & Strategy
Elaborated new SaaS strategy based on white-label integrations to support company-wide ambition to transition operations from an asset-heavy to an asset-light (most relevant partnership with Remote) model
Launched new platform (LendisOS) with new UX and permissions flows for new personas, previously tested on WooCommerce shops as PoC, resulting in a 50% increase of the customer base within the first 3 months
Implemented data-informed best practices to optimise inventory management, resulting in a substantial increase in equipment allocation, and introduced an asset-light model to eliminate the liability of owning depreciable assets for rent
Leadership
Recruited, onboarded, led and coached leaders in the Product department (Product Management, Product Design and UX) for a total of 18 between direct and indirect reports
Appointed, led and coached GPMs and Design&UX Lead to delegate people management
Collaborated cross-functionally with mid- and high-level leadership from all departments to bring our digital products to excellence, and streamline the UX of the logistics and operations flows, contributing to increasing NPS from 21 to 63
Coached and helped Engineering leaders in staffing their teams while looking for a CTO
Introduced the Thunderdome, a stakeholder-led, empathy-based prioritisation framework that I had previously designed
Held company-wide evangelisation workshops on team effectiveness and leadership, as well as the importance of candid feedback (both within a team and coming from customers) for keeping the business healthy
